About The Trip

River rafting over the Sun Koshi (The river of Gold ) is one of the classic river running and considered one of the best amongst the to ten river running in the world. Every day the terrain changes from snow clad massifs to wide valleys, tropical dense forest and petit remote villages. With and easy and calmer start with class 3 rapid in the beginning giving chance to acclimatize to the rapids and adjust to the raft and gears. The rapid increases as we pass off the village and huge water and thrill all the way. A total of 235 km of exiting river rafting takes 07 days. We camp overnights in the wilderness. Supporting and the camping team are locals and professionals.

Day By Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Delhi IGI Airport: On arrival met by representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight hotel at Delhi.
 
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing-Delhi-Katmandu: Full day sightseeing of New and old Delhi historical monuments also including the parliament house, India Gate and the National Museum. Evening transfer to International airport. Fly Delhi Kathmandu. Arrive Tribhuvan International Airport in Katmandu and be met by representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
 
Day 03: Kathmandu: Acclimatization sightseeing: Spend the day on a guided tour of sacred Tibetan stupas and monasteries. Overnight at the hotel.
 
Day 04: Kathmandu-Dumja : Drive from Kathmandu to Dumja towards the east; the put-in point for the river rafting. Today we have the orientation meeting, questions and answers about technical issues etc. Overnight camp at Dumja.
 
Day 05: Over the wild river: Overnight camp.
 
Day 06: Over the wild river: Overnight camp.
Day 07: Over the wild river: Overnight camp.
Day 08: Over the wild river: Overnight camp.
Day 09: Over the wild river: Overnight camp.
Day 10: Over the wild river: Overnight camp.
Day 11: Over the wild river- Chatara: We finish the expedition at Chatara; the put-out point, which is about 16 hrs drive from Kathmandu in  far south east of the country. Overnight camp. 

Day 12: Chatara- Biratnagar-Kathmandu: Drive from Chatara Biratnagar which takes about 01 hrs, and fly to Kathmandu. The flight takes about 50 minutes to reach the Tribhuvan airport, upon arrival met by representative and transfer to hotel.
 
Day 13: Kathmandu -Delhi: Departure transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport fly Kathmandu to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi met by representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
 
Day 14: Delhi-Home: On time departure transfer to International airport, fly Delhi-Home.
