| Day 01: |
Arrive Delhi IGI Airport. On arrival met by representative and transfer to hotel. Full day sightseeing of New and old Delhi historical monuments also including the parliament house, India Gate and the National Museum. Overnight hotel at Delhi. |
| Day 02: |
Delhi Sightseeing-Delhi-Paro: Transfer to International airport. Fly Delhi Paro. Arrive at Paro Airport, met by our Bhutan representative and transfer to hotel. Day sightseeing of Paro, and afternoon assemble the bikes by evening, dinner and overnight hotel at Paro. |
| Day 03: |
Paro to Thimpu: Morning after breakfast we start the biking from hotel. The route passes through green fields along side the river. A 60 Kms of gentle biking takes us to the capital town Thimphu which is spread in a wide green valley. On arrival we check in hotel for an luxurious bath and refreshment. Dinner and overnight the hotel. |
| Day 04: |
Thimpu to Wangdi: Today we negotiate the stiff climb to the high pass of Dochu La (3280 M), we pass through variety of flora and fauna, rhododendron and magnolia. A great view of Himalayans peaks can be had from the pass on a clear sky day. From here we descent to the valley of Punakha. Visit the ancient Dzong which dates back to 1637 and houses thousands of monks. We can have our lunch at the village and further ride through fields and flat valley we reach Wangdi which is situated at confluence of two rivers. We visit the Dzong and settle at the awaiting camp. Overnight at the camp. |
| Day 05: |
Wangdi to Gangtey: We start with an gentle biking for about 10 Kms and after the Tikke village we start one of the longest ascent to the Black Mountains. In about 40 Kms we gain about 1460 M of altitude. Gangtey is famous for the endanger species Black-necked crane which migrates from central Asia in winter. Overnight camp at the village. |
| Day 06: |
Gangtey to Tongsa: Today we shall use our support vehicle to carry the bikes and members to the pass from where we ride down to the main road and again climb to the Pele La pass 3219 M. from here we decent to Tongsa loosing about 1500 M. We shall stop by at the village of Chenjebi and have our lunch near the big Chorten. From here crossing the bridge of Kikkarchu we finally enter Togsa. Visit the Dzong. Overnight at camp in Tongsa. |
| Day 07: |
Tongsa to Jakar: We start our day with a gradual climb up through zig zag hill road. A look back from the top gives a magnificent view of the valley and the Zdong. The step fields ends gradually and we enter the dense forest and after a ride of 30 Kms we arrive at the Yutong La pass (3316 M). From here we ride down to the village of Chumey loosing about 730 M. We have now already entered the famous Bumthang Valley which is wide and green and further descent will lead us to Jakar and we can already see the Jakar Dzong afar atop the village. Overnight camp at Jakar. |
| Day 08: |
Jakar to Ura: We bike uphill to Ura La pass about 40 Kms and gaining 880 M. On a clear day one can have magnificent view of the Himalayan range of mountains to the north. From the pass there are two options of going down to the village of Ura. One can take the old rough road which is stiff and shorter and the new road with the usual zig-zag turns through step fields and grazing lands. We often see the Shepard with their herds. Overnight camp at the village. |
| Day 09: |
Ura to Mongar: Morning visit the Sombrang monastery and start our climb to the highest motorable road Thumsing La 3706 M. The gradual climb is about 30 Kms to the pass. We stop at the pass and can have our lunch here. A long but enjoyable descent of about 86 Kms will be one of the unforgettable ride through the dense conifer forest and constantly changing terrain. We arrive at Lingmithang after 05 hours of magnificent motor biking experience. The temperature gets warmer here, from here we load our bikes in the supporting vehicle for the 27 Kms uphill ride to village of Mongar. Overnight camp at the village. |
| Day 10: |
Mongar to Tashigang : We start our day with a gradual climb up to the Kori La 2390 M which is about 18 Kms. From Kori La a stiff descent through corn fields and a long zig zag series takes us to the Sheri river. From here we further ride to Tashigang along side the Gamri river, and a final uphill biking of 8 Kms will take us to the village where our camping staff shall be waiting for us with refreshment and drinks ready. Overnight at the village. |
| Day 11: |
Tashigang to Khaling: The first phase of biking of about 26 Kms with gradual climb takes us to Kanglung. From Kanglung a gradual ascend takes us to the village of Khaling which is famous for its handicraft. We can visit some weaving centers or to a private house. The weather now dramatically changed and need very less clothing. Overnight at the village. |
| Day 12: |
Khaling to Campsite: A short climb to a small pass 2383 M seems much easy as by now we are tough biker, well acclimatized and in sync with our machines. From here a short descent takes us to Wamrong 1950 M. A series of Chortens can be seen along side the road. From here a long uphill biking takes us to our campsite. A special refreshment await us from the camping team as today will be our last day with them. Next morning they will pack and go, thus they head toady much early to prepare the farewell special dinner for the team. Overnight at the campsite. |
| Day 13: |
Arrive at Samdrup Jongkhar-Paro : From the campsite today we do our final biking which will be pleasant descend through thick forest to the village of Diwathang. We take a rest near the Chorten From here we bike to Samdrup Joghkhar the last frontier. Celebrate the win and pack and drive to Paro. Overnight a luxurious dinner party at hotel in Paro. |
| Day 14: |
Paro-Delhi-Home: Early morning drive to Paro Airport, Fly Paro-Delhi. Evening transfer to International airport fly Delhi-Home. |
