About The Trip

A complete trout game fishing trip with wild camping, bird watching, hiking and visits to ancient temples; this tour is a complete adventure holidaying in the Great Himalayan National Park with breathtaking views of snow capped mountains, lush green jungles with apple orchids with hundreds species of birds in site, this trip is extremely addictive as the beauty of the valley and the challenge of the covet wild trout calls you back, even in dreams. The Tirthan river from the melted snow from the glaciers provides an ideal home for the wild brown and rainbow trout. 

Day By Day Itinerary

Day 01: Home-Delhi: Arrive Delhi from home. On arrival at the international airport met by representative, assistance and transfer to hotel. Overnight hotel at Delhi.
 
Day 02: Delhi-Kullu: On time departure transfer to the Domestic airport to fly Delhi-Kullu. On arrival at Kullu met by local representative and transfer to Tirthan valley. Relax and lunch at the cottages. Afternoon walk to the river and discuss the gaming program with your guide. Dinner and overnight at the cottages.
 
Day 03: Fishing: Leave early morning to the riverside to spot areas to start the gaming. Day enjoy the fishing. Packed lunch at the riverside. Evening return to the cottages. Evening enjoy bone fire and barbeque at the lawns of the cottages. Overnight at the cottages.
 
Day 04: Fishing: Overnight at the cottages.

Day 05: Hiking and Bird watching. The Tirthan Valley, and its surrounding countryside, offers the birder a variety of habitats to explore, ranging from temperate vegetation up to sub-alpine forests. If you are a keen and expert birder you may notice upto 30 species in a single day.  We hire the lenses from the Himalayan Trout House store and hike in the Great Himalayan National park for a pleasant 4-5 hrs trek. We shall need a daily permit for the park which will be obtained in advance for you. Overnight at the House.
 
Day 06: Hiking and camping: Walk to Shoja village one of the most picturesque village in the valley, enroute visit  to the Shalogi  & Shanogi Mata temple. Overnight in tents in the beautiful valley.
 
Day 07: Hiking to the house: From Shoja walk to the Jalori Pass ( 3 KM) one of the two passes connecting the Kullu valley to the Shimla Valley. Guaranteed snow at Shoja from early December till early April, from there back to the House. Overnight at the house.
 
Day 08: Fishing: Overnight at the cottages.
 
Day 09: Nagini-Chandigarh-Delhi: Drive from Nagini to Chandigarh about 6 hrs. Board the evening Shatabdi express train to Delhi which leaves in the evening around 6:30 and reaches Delhi at 09:45 pm. Dinner on board in the train. On arrival met by representative and transfer to your hotel in Delhi. Overnight hotel in Delhi.
 
Day 10: Delhi Home: Transfer to International airport to fly home.
