Introduction

Small but beautiful, the Himalayan state of Sikkim is sandwiched between Tibet to the north and east, Bhutan to the southeast and Indian state of West Bengal to its south.

Sikkim offers some of the most challenging treks owing to its location on the Himalaya with a diverse geographical features and climate ranging from subtropical to high alpine.
Most of the treks traverses through thick alpine forest rich in flora and fauna, stunning snow capped mountains. Often trekkers can notice grazing Yaks, the blue sheep, Tahr, Goral, snow leopard and the Sikkim’s state animal the Red Panda.

The guardian deity of Sikkim the Mr. Kanchenjunga (28,170 ft) overlooks the valley and  gives breathtaking views at Sun set and sun rise. Where as the lower regions are as low as 800 ft making the trekkers acclimatize gradually to the high attitude treks.
