About The Tour

Most of the safari passes through yak-graded meadows, carpeted with Primulas, lined by Rhododendrons and waterfalls, hot spring spots, lakes, high passes, petit villages, tea gardens and Buddhist monasteries. Most of the roads are well mottled but narrow trailing over the hills and passing through lush green valleys. Unlike other Asian destinations, the Bhutanese lead a very relaxed way of life; there are few cars, lots of untarnished countryside and none of the hustle and bustle that you normally associate with Asia. The peaceful Buddhist way of life is evident everywhere in this kingdom nestled amongst the Himalayas.
